Participants will go counterclockwise around Cascade Lake (3 miles). All ages are welcome to participate. Children running/walking around the lake need adult supervision.

Cost is $25 per person or $100 for a team of 5.

Please register in advance; call 376-5339.

Orcas Rec Coordinator Linda Sheridan says, “This is an all inclusive fun family event to help support the Orcas Rec Program; bring mom, dad, the kids and the pooch! Bring your pooch! If you want to do the run/walk with your four legged friend we ask that dogs stay on leash the whole time and that you pick up after them.

You can take your time or push your personal limit! It’s all just for fun so we won’t keep times; everyone is a winner in our book! There will be supervision at the Cascade Lake picnic shelter for the kids who don’t want to trek around the lake (suggested $5 donation to cover art supplies). Afterwards there will be light refreshments for all to enjoy at the Cascade Lake picnic shelter. We hope you will come out to join us for this great event. Bring a friend and Run for Rec!”

Please RSVP if you need childcare during the race. Call (360)376-5339.
