The Orcas Island Parent-Teacher-Student Association (PTSA) openend thier annual Scholastic Book Fair last night, Dec. 2, as crowds of kids, parents and community menbers filled the library to browse the books, posters and kits for sale to beneift the school.
Youngsters crowded around Santa and Mrs. Claus, who read aloaloud to them, and all enjoyed cookies and refreshments. But for most, the books were the main attraction. The Book Fair continues through Friday at the School Library.
