Next regular meeting on Oct. 28 canceled due to lack of quorum
As a result of a recent resignation, the Commissioners of the Port of Orcas wish to fill the position of Commissioner #2, which expires 12/31/13.
Interested citizens are encouraged to submit their names and qualifications to: Port of Orcas, POB 53, Eastsound WA 98245-0053 no later than November 18, 2010.
Current commissioners will contact qualified candidates to arrange for an interview. It is expected that the vacancy will be filled prior to the December 9, 2010 meeting of the commission.
The Port of Orcas also announced that its regular meeting, scheduled for October 28, 2010 has been cancelled due to the lack of a quorum.
The next regular meeting, to discuss and adopt the budget for 2011, will be held at 6:00P.M., November 11, 2010 in the port conference room in the airport terminal building.
