A book can take you anywhere, and a bookmobile can take books to you!

The Orcas Island Library is considering purchasing a Bookmobile to serve as an outreach component to our services. The goal would be to visit parts of the island outside of Eastsound, including Deer Harbor, Orcas/ West Sound, Olga/Doe Bay, and possibly the Orcas Senior Center and island daycare/preschools.
In order to gauge the level of interest, we are now conducting a survey. Survey forms are placed at the Olga, Orcas, and Deer Harbor Post Offices, the Doe Bay Resort Office, and on the front desk of the Library. You can also access the survey online.
