Grab your hat and boots and come on down – Caleb Klauder and his Country Band are back!
Orcas-reared Caleb Klauder brings his Country Band and his old-timey vision of country and honky-tonk music back to Orcas Center. This is country music that harkens back to the old dance hall days when people of all walks of life came together to dance, socialize, and enjoy live music.
Caleb’s authentic and familiar sound feels all at once contemporary and vintage. If his music could invent a genre, it would be New-school Americana, infusing old standards with Northwest attitude and spinning out modern classics with Southern charm.
Caleb writes his rough-hewn lyrics among the chickens scratching in his garden in Portland, Oregon, where he works as a musician and carpenter.Tickets: $25, $19 Orcas Center members, $11 students. 360-376-2281 ex 1.
