Wednesday, October 26 at 5:30 p.m. at the Discovery House
The Orcas Island Chamber of Commerce will hold its Annual Membership meeting on Wednesday, October 26 at the Discovery House at Rosario Resort & Spa. All Chamber members are invited, and non-members interested in joining are welcome to attend. This is the perfect opportunity to meet and socialize with other business members, as well as hear about all the exciting events unfolding for the Chamber.
The night begins at 5:30 pm with a social hour featuring hors d’oeuvres, desserts, and a no-host bar. At 6:15 pm the Annual Membership meeting will get underway with updates from the San Juan Islands Visitors Bureau, and County Economic Development Council.
There will an overview on various Chamber initiatives, and the introduction of new Chamber members. For the second year running, the Chamber will present awards – as voted on by the Chamber membership – to three deserving members in the following categories: Community Service; Environmental Excellence; and new this year – Customer Service. There will also be door prizes awarded throughout the evening. Be sure to join us for this fun and informative night!
