Orcas Senior Center offers a variety of ongoing classes, social groups, wellness activities, and creative programs throughout the month.   • Fitness & Wellness: Chair yoga
  • Arts & Creativity: Art with Carla, quilting, needlework, and watercolors
  • Music & Social Groups: Ukulele, drumming
  • Cards & Games: Spite & Malice, pinochle, and Karma
  • Support Services: Foot care, technology support, Medicare counseling, and more
  • Community Lunch & Gatherings: Shared meals and friendly drop-in time

  • Good Death, Good Life Café: Join certified end-of-life doula Sonia Lippmann every third Tuesday, 2–3:30 p.m. at Orcas Senior Center for free, gentle conversations about aging, serious illness, and planning ahead, for peace of mind before a crisis. Questions? sonia@eventideendoflife.care.
  • Hospice 101: Hospice of the Northwest explains eligibility, costs, getting started, and support for families, and clears up common myths. Wednesday, October 21, 1 p.m. at Orcas Senior Center. Free; all welcome. Questions? edy@orcasseniors.org.
