It’s that time of year — The One World Music Festival, a two-night only musical event taking place at the Orcas Center June 19th and 20th will again feature Martin Lund hosting his fantastic  Music Festival!

Lund’s jazz-based musical variety show is one of Orcas Center’s most popular summer music events, bringing together Orcas Island’s best musicians and top-notch talent from beyond the islands, all to support The Funhouse.

This year’s line-up includes local performers such as Martin Lund, instrumentalist extraordinaire, Gene Nery, guitarist and vocalist, Willy Thomas, famed trumpeter, Tony Morales. master drummer,  and Grace McCune, vocalist and “one huge talent,” in the words of Lund.

Off-island talent features the Lopez Sound a cappella group and “violinist to the stars” David Wilson. The show is a huge hit every year and both nights sell out, so audiences are urged to get their tickets soon.

For the first time ever, the Funhouse is also making available a very limited number of special seats right on the stage during the performances.

All net proceeds from the concert go to The Funhouse, whose mission is to help the  children and families of Orcas Island.

Don’t miss your chance to be a part of this magical event. Call the Orcas Center box office at 376-ACT1(2281) and reserve your tickets today!
