In the 15 years that I’ve been fortunate enough to call Orcas home, the Orcas Center has become a second home for my family and me.
Watching my two children thrive and grow thanks to the artistic opportunities provided by the Orcas Center is so gratifying. They have both been on stage since they were tiny, and the confidence that has given them is invaluable.
They get to explore their creativity while performing in a safe and supportive environment. They have learned the dedication and commitment it takes to produce something great, and the sense of accomplishment that is possible from that work. They’ve seen musical and dance performances that have inspired them to practice and learn new things. They have made lasting friendships while overcoming fears and frustration.
