We clearly need responsible, level-headed leadership at the Fire Hall. That’s why I will be voting for Kate and Randy.
I’ve worked with Kate for over 15 years, first at The Funhouse and more recently at The Exchange, where she served on the Board as treasurer. Kate is dedicated to our local community now and in the future. She makes an impact not because she’s loud, but because she listens, assesses, and makes sound decisions. Her non-profit experience has taught her the importance of having to “earn” your budget and gaining the trust of your financial supporters through transparency and responsible follow through.
It almost goes without saying that responsible, level-headed leadership is what Randy Gaylord will provide. His decades as prosecuting attorney will provide him with all the experience he needs to bring reason and equity to the firehall. His experience with The County bureaucracy and managing a team will serve Orcas well.

Very nice Pete. Completely correct. Thank you
Adding Brian Ehrmantraut to this pair will assure these great new commissioners have the votes needed to make a sustainable plan for OIFR.
