||| FROM KATHERINE BRYANT INGMAN FOR SAN JUAN COUNTY COUNCIL |||

Former Washington State Governor Jay Inslee and former First Lady Trudi Inslee have endorsed me for San Juan County Council, District 3.

I am proud that the members of AFSCME Local 1849, the union representing San Juan County employees, voted to endorse me. They join Jane Fuller, the current District 3 Councilperson, who is not seeking another
term, and former San Juan County Council members Tom Cowan, Lovel Pratt, Jamie Stephens, and Cindy Wolf.

Hilary Canty, former Executive Director of the Orcas Island Community Foundation, has also endorsed me, as have Farhad Ghatan, former Mayor of Friday Harbor, and Milene Henley, former San Juan County Auditor.

These are people from different islands holding different roles in public service. They have managed public dollars, led local institutions, and heard from residents. They are backing me because they have seen me listen, follow through, and do real work for this community.

I have built my life on Lopez Island with my husband, working multiple jobs and breathing new life into our fixer-upper, a home we were fortunate to purchase. I led the Lopez Clinic’s transition to Sea Mar and co-founded the Lopez Food Share. I bring hands-on experience listening to what islanders need most.

Ballots are out and are due November 3. Please vote and join these leaders in voting for me for San Juan County Council, District 3. And make sure to use the ballot box, and not the postal service.
