A vote next month for Rick Hughes to be on our County Council is a vote for an experienced advocate for San Juan County, its residents and our neighborhoods.
Working with him both on the Board of the Economic Development Council and in the Rotary Club, I’ve witnessed his respectfulness and integrity. Rare character traits in public service.
As a member of numerous committees, working groups and service organizations here, Rick has developed good working relationships with many. His thoughtfulness and sense of responsibility for his actions amongst us is evident. As a former County Councilmember, he already has the experience needed to act with the transparency, accountability and diligence appropriate for the process and changes we’re facing as we move forward together.
As a successful business owner, Rick certainly understands employment issues and budget balancing. We need his experience in our County now!
