I urge the voters to return Rick Hughes to his position on the county council. Rick is an effective advocate for the citizens of San Juan County. He is an experienced business man with the necessary to manage the many facets of county business.
His ability to work with fellow council members and citizens he represents allows him to get things done in an effective way.
We need people with his experience and ability on the council so that the county business moves forward in an orderly manner. Solving problems and and keeping county business running smoothly is very important. I believe Rick is the person we need in this position.

Yes, we too are impressed with how committed Rick Hughes is to our community. Rick, very often, is doing things he doesn’t have to do, is at places he doesn’t have to be at and yet he always has time for a smile and a quick chat that may not be all that important to him at the time. He cares not just for this community but also for people in general. And when I see someone is using their “gift”, for the betterment of all, I feel very blessed and grateful!
And I am also grateful for the love and support Rick receives from his wife Marlace and son Ricky and other family members. They often have to sacrifice family time with Rick so he can do his job properly. And I will also bet that sometimes he is tired and maybe even a little crabby when he gets home from this often demanding job.
Rick AND the Hughes family have my support and vote!
