The Orcas Island Council of Churches celebration of Lent continues on Wednesday night, April 6, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship in West Sound.
The program includes a brief service of music, meditation, readings and reflection on the theme of forgiveness, followed by a feast of soup and bread. Suzanne Olson will lead the service and plans to talk about forgiveness as community action and social justice.
The service begins at 5:30 p.m. in the West Sound Community Hall (Yacht Club) at the corner of Crow Valley and Deer Harbor Roads. All are welcome.
