Newest numbers. The Washington State Department of Health (DOH) reported a total of 443,230 confirmed cases as of 11:59 p.m. on Aug. 4. There have been 6,155 COVID-19 deaths in Washington.

COVID-19 long-term care report. As of Aug. 2, a total of 21,005 COVID-19 cases and 2,693 deaths have been identified as associated or likely associated with a long-term care facility (such as nursing home, assisted living facility, or adult family home). Inslee rescinds two proclamations related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Gov. Jay Inslee rescinded a proclamation prohibiting the garnishment of bank accounts for consumer debt in certain circumstances, and one suspending the implementation date of the Uniform Guardianship Act as it relates to third-party custody of minors.
