Sara Thomsen, Orcas Islander who now llives part-time in Argentina, will teach a series of classes next weekend.
The “Last Tango in Eastsound” (for this year) will take place next weekend, as Sara Thomsen returns to Orcas for one last round of workshops before returning to Argentina for the winter. Sara will be offering three classes at Oddfellows Hall:
- Friday Nov 19th – 6pm-7pm — Basics of Argentine Tango — great for very beginners or refining the basics
- Sunday Nov 21st — 2pm-3pm — Ochos and Boleos — learn the fundamental turn in tango the ocho and be introduced to the boleo
- 3pm-4pm — Ocho Cortado. This classic pattern in tango is fun musical and great for navigation, learn the basic and a few variations
