“the virtual vineyard” by Zoom – Hard Cider by Orcas Senior Center and Doe Bay Wine Company: Sunday, March 28, 5 p.m.

||| FROM LENA KASSA for ORCAS SENIOR CENTER |||

Join Orcas Senior Center and Doe Bay Wine Company’s Cole Sisson to taste Cuvée Annie, a local hard cider by Piquenique Wines. Special guests, Nico and Tess from Piquenique Wines will be joining us to talk about how the cider is pressed, fermented, and bottled without any additions of any kind. The natural fermentation method gives the cider a fresh and fizzy taste. To complement the cider, we will be featuring a local cheese along with crackers.

To participate, register at www.orcasseniors.org. Then, purchase and pick up your bottle of Cuvée Annie (950ml), cheese, and crackers at Doe Bay Wine Company at 109 North Beach Road Thursday-Saturday 11am-4pm by March 27. (1 bottle cider, cheese, crackers: $30; 2 bottles cider, cheese, crackers: $60; 3 bottles cider, cheese, crackers: $90)

On March 28 at 5:00pm, open your cider, grab your cheese and crackers, and join your friends on Zoom!

ALL ARE WELCOME.
