A Whale Watch Trip with reduced prices for kids age 7 to 17 will set out from Deer Harbor Marina on Thursday morning, July 16.
The three-hour trip, from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., is an educational guided trip with an experienced captain and naturalist. Those making the trip will look for orca whales as well as bald eagles, seals, porpoises, and numerous species of birds.
Tom Averna at Deer Harbor Charters is collaborating with the Orcas Rec. Program to offer a reduced price. The cost is $30 for kids 7-17 and $40 for those 18 years old or older. Participants should be at Deer Harbor Marina by 9:45 a.m.
