Saturday, June 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Random Howse
In the last four months, JP and the OK Rhythm Boys have played in Seattle, they’ve played in Salem, on Shaw, in Conway, on Lopez (twice!).
But not on Orcas. However, on Saturday, June 7th, Random Howse is pleased to host the trio in their first concert for the home town crowd since February 1st. Join JP, Gordon, and Anita for an evening of fine, sweet and swinging fiddling, happily backed by guitar and bass. Experience their 3 part harmonies, and occasional appearances by the mandolin, the ukulele, and, of course, the musical saw in an evening of swing, hoedowns, fiddled-up rock tunes, waltzes, jazz standards, originals, and more. Enjoy the island-famous gourmet grilled cheese sandwiches, Greek specialties, and yummy drinks on offer from the kitchen and bar of Random Howse.
The music runs 6-8 p.m., and while there is no cover charge, the hat will tactfully and gratefully be passed. You can check out the band at their website: jpandtheokrhythmboys.com, or contact Random Howse at 376-1111.
