Tuesday, August 13, 10:30 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.

— from Lena Kassa for Orcas Senior Center —

Join the Orcas Senior Center Nonprofit on Tuesday, August 13 for an on-island field trip and lunch at the Buck Bay Shellfish Farm. The farm offers fresh locally caught crab, prawns, salmon, halibut, and other seasonal seafood. They also offer gourmet oysters and clams, as well as organically grown vegetables.

We will gather at 10:30 a.m. at the Orcas Senior Center, and arrive at Buck Bay around 11 a.m. for an orientation. In addition to enjoying a great lunch, you will have a chance to buy fresh seafood for dinner, walk on the Land Trust Trail to the water falls across the road, or sit and relax by the seaside. We will return to the Orcas Senior Center around 2:30 p.m.

Please call 360-376-2677 to reserve a spot or visit the front desk at the Orcas Senior Center to sign up. Private cars are welcome; please indicate on the sign-up sheet if you plan to travel by car.
