Twice annually, WSF hosts a series of community meetings throughout our service area to discuss current ferry system issues. Input can also be given through the Ferry Advisory Committees.
The meeting for the San Juan Islands will be Wednesday, June 12, 5-7 p.m. in the San Juan County Council Chambers at 55 Second St. (corner of Second and Reed streets) in Friday Harbor.
Meeting topics to include:
- recap of 2013 legislative session
- liquefied natural gas as a source of fuel for propulsion
- Olympic Class vessel construction
- performance measures
- tariff process update
- route-specific issues
The meeting will be streamed live from the Orcas and Lopez libraries and on the San Juan County website.
