Saturday and Sunday, March 10-11, 2012

Mid-winter is a great time to increase your writing skills and stir those creative juices. We all live in such a magnificent setting, yet forget to stop, see and listen.

Learn to deepen your nature watching and increase your joy through journaling. Using her experience and time-tested exercises, Susan will teach memory triggers that bring back deep memories you did not know you have. These will be combined with observation skills. You will learn a simple Japanese drawing technique (which everyone can achieve), descriptive writing and narrative skills.

Come start a new journal or add pizazz to your ongoing notes. Susan Zwinger, PhD, popular teacher, published writer, illustrator and naturalist, will again be offering a workshop on Orcas Island to be held on Saturday, March 10th, and Sunday the 11th, at the home of Winnie Adams and Bob Gamble. Beverages will be supplied. Bring a brown bag lunch or plan to eat at one of the local establishments.

Saturday, March 10, 9:00 to 5:00, with a lunch break
Sunday, March 11, 9:00 to 5:00, with a lunch break
Cost is $120

For further information, contact Susan at (360) 221-2347, zbird@juno.com.

This workshop will be limited to 10 students. Please sign up soon by calling Winnie at 376-4656.
