The Orcas Island Rowing Association (OIRA) will once again host the New Years Day “Polar Bear Plunge” at Cascade Lake in Moran State Park. The theme for the upcoming Polar Bear Plunge is“Hippy Nippy Dippy.” So it’s time to discover or rediscover your inner hippy and “let it all hang out” on New Years Day!
Tie-dye T-Shirts will be on sale at Island Market December 18th-19th. Be there or be “square” at 11:00 AM on New Year’s Day for a bracing start to the New Year! … And don’t be late or you’ll miss it.
