Prashant Kakad,  a reknown Bollywood dancer/singer/DJ is choreographing a piece for the upcoming show, “Enchanted Forest,” an upcoming cabaret-style event at the Orcas Center. The class will be Friday night and is open to the Orcas community-at-large.

The class runs from 6-8 p.m., and is open to adults and (well-behaved) children of 8+. Cost is $15/person. Class will take place on the Center Stage – plan on using the OffCenter lobby doors to gain access. This is a rare opportunity to take a Bollywood dance class from one of the masters.

“Enchanted Forest” will be presented October 13-15 and 20-22. It follows on the popularity of “Cabaret in the Air” in April 2009, and Deborah Sparks will again direct a variety of local singers, dancers and actors in the creation of an enchanted forest filled with a bevy of mischief and mystery, jesting and music, song, and the Steampunk Chorus.
