Hi, gang!
Have finally bit the bullet and moved back to my Orcas cabin! Got lonely over there and wanted to come home and be with my friends (and, of course, Sweet Anita).
Be among real people again and visit the Magnolia Bar and the American Legion. Hafta be careful of what I eat and what I do. Slowly transitioning from wheelchair to walker, and its coming around pretty well. People are helping me: Anita up most every day, Caregiver Mel, my old standby, cupla times a week, son Brad, who lives on the property does a.m. coffee and scrambled eggs, and Mel does frozen meals and dinners. So, right now, I’m feeling pretty good. (At 89 point one). Gunna try to hang in there!
Great to be here at my cabin, on the beach on Rosario Strait, with islands and mountains! Beautiful! Sitting on my open front porch with a King Edward cigar in one hand, and, unfortunately, dammit, a glass of ice tea in the other……..(Gotta follow the rules!)
On August 22 Anita will be having another birthday, and I will be going with a 90-year-old woman! What the hell, her legs and accouterments look like shes 40!
This is just a quicky position report and will regale more later.
