Notice of the SJC Council Attending a Public Meeting
Members of the San Juan County Council will be attending a meeting with Governor Jay Inslee on Saturday, September 3rd beginning at approximately 9 a.m. at the Mt. Grant Land Bank property, San Juan Island. Governor Inslee will be touring Mt. Grant, followed by a visit to the Friday Harbor Athletic Field.
I wish I could be there to show support, hold a sign, and let Gov Inslee know how much his actions are needed to breach the lower 4 Snake River dams. It needs to happen NOW. There are no more excuses. It needs to happen for our salmon, our whales, and our economy.
