The Makers Guild’s DIY pop-up classes include Felted Animals, Weaving, Cookie Decorating, and Luminary Making. Felting and Weaving are free sessions and still have room to come enjoy, bring a friend, create a gift, nourish yourself with a warm drink and light foods, and shop the market, too. (Cookie and Luminary are full.)
The Felted Playful Animals class is Saturday, Dec 7th, drop in for an hour, 11-2. This class is a great way for friends and family to enjoy time together creating a colorful animal. Reserve a space and drop in anytime. Taught by Carol Anderson. Ages 10 and up. Maximum 8 makers per hour. Free. please RSVP.
The Intro to Weaving class is Sunday, Dec 8th, 11-2 and is a 3-hr class. This convivial learning circle uses tabletop looms to create a small weaving using island grown yarns. Taught by Mackenzie Sims. Ages 10 and up. Limited to 10 participants. Free, please RSVP.
