Monday, December 31, doors open at 9, Random Howse

— from April Duke for Random Howse —

Orcas raised Brian Duke and his band mates from the greater Los Angeles area will be flying up to play great dance covers and original music to celebrate the end of 2018 and beginning of 2019 at Random Howse.

Brian (bass) moved to southern California in 2009 and has been immersed in learning the craft and art of the music business and has been playing with Dave (vocalist) and Jason (lead guitar) since 2010.  Sam (drums) has been keeping the beat.

The last time the band was on Orcas was July 2016.

Brian was influenced and encouraged by some of the greats of Orcas: Jim Bredouw, Brian Benepe, Gene Nery, Martin Lund, and Greg Books.

They will be joined by Anthony Ghazel (another Orcas island alumnus) and LA-based Jonah Nimoy (guitar/vocalist) for a few songs.
