The Eastsound Planning Review Committee will welcome two new members at its monthly meeting tomorrow, Jan. 6.
The first order of business will be installing Rick Hughes, owner of Ray’s Pharmacy and Teri Williams, owner of Permit Resources to the county advisory board. The meeting will start at 3 p.m. in the Eastsound Fire Hall.
Also on the agenda are:
• Update from County Council by Orcas West Councilman Richard Fralick. He is expected to report on the County Planning Docket, Solid Waste situation, Critical Areas Ordinance-Shoreline Master Plan and new items
• Mount Property Stormwater Treatment presentation by Shannon Wilbur PW Engineer who will describe
- Areas open for Public Input
- Adequacy of existing design
- Advantages and implications of re-design under new DOE rules
• County Planning Docket report by Senior Planner Colin Maycock who will give an overview of 2011 docket work.
• Reading of the “Ocean Forest” development letter from the EPRC in support of the Eastsound Design Review Subcommittee (EDRS) report
• Review letter to CDPD on temporary structures in Eastsound. (the Deer Harbor Charter Kiosk)
• Review the Trail Standard received on 12/15/10 with a report by Public Works Transportation Planning Engineer Shannon Wilbur.
• Review the Food Bank variance request #10-0172 Received 12/7/10
• Project Review of Craftsmen Corner PCUP 10-0011 Received 12/3/10
During the remaining Citizen Access time the Committee will hear a letter from Errol Speed.
The EPRC is slated to report to the County Council later this winter.
