Tuesday, September 20, 10—11:30 a.m.

The San Juan County Council will begin videoconferencing its Friday Harbor meetings to Orcas and Lopez Islands, beginning this Tuesday, Sept. 20.

Videoconferencing will begin at 10:00 with an opportunity to address the Council during Citizens Access and continue through a discussion on redistricting scheduled at 10:30. Public comment will be accepted during the discussion.

Orcas residents may participate in the videoconference from 10 to 11:30 a.m. at the Orcas Island Public Library on Rose Street in Eastsound. Lopez residents can atttend videoconferencing at the Lopez Public Library.

Although access to County Council meetings by videoconferencing is offered, it is not guaranteed due to potential technical difficulties. Citizen access and public testimony can only be guaranteed by submitting written comments or attending the Council meeting in person in the Legislative Hearing Room, 55 Second Street, Friday Harbor.

The agenda for the Tuesday  meeting will include a discussion of Redistricting; Public comment is accepted.

Further agenda items will be discussed off-camera at the conclusion of the videoconference at 11:30. The Council will then address:
