||| FROM FR. BERTO GANDARA for EMMANUEL EPISCOPAL CHURCH

Emmanuel Episcopal Parish will offer an introductory presentation on Saturday, September 26, at 4:00 p.m. in Benson Hall for an upcoming eleven-week course on Mystical Christianity.

This presentation is for anyone interested in the contemplative and mystical aspects of Christianity, especially those who might feel alienated by literal interpretations, fundamentalist views, or a Christianity linked with partisan politics or specific ideologies.

The course will explore divine love and spiritual transformation, contemplative prayer, Christian mystics, silence, justice, and dialogue with other religious traditions.

The September 26 presentation is a stand-alone event, with no commitment required and free. The full course, also free, begins Saturday, October 3 at 4:00 p.m. in Benson Hall.

Anyone, regardless of their religious background or lack thereof, who openly wishes to explore this aspect of Christianity is welcome.
