The historic Deer Harbor (98243) Post Office, purchased in a community campaign in 2009.

The Deer Harbor Community Club announces a unique upcoming tasting of South American wines.

The public is invited to taste excellent wines from Chile and Argentina. The $35 admission provides tastes of ten different red, white, rose, and dessert wines, local and international tapas, and a special event wine glass. Music by Gene Nery will accompany the event, with an exhibition of tango dancing.

The tasting is being held to raise funds to help retire our debt incurred in saving the Deer Harbor Post Office.  There will also be a limited auction of great gifts such as hotel stays, cruises in local waters, and other exciting prizes.  Wines may be purchased from the providers, Country Corner Cellars, at the event.

The fun will take place at the Deer Harbor Community Center on Deer Harbor Road Sunday, August 28, 4:00-7:00 PM. Tickets may be purchased at the Country Corner Cellar shop.  A very limited amount will be available at the door.
