Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival is thrilled to invite children and their families to our annual Children’s Concert on Aug. 9 at 1pm. Rain or shine, bring a blanket or lawn chair and join us in front of the whale at Orcas Center and enjoy a free, fun-filled hour of music with a delightful array of instruments and performers.
Expect an exciting and educational program featuring accordion, oboe, flute, piano, plenty of strings, and maybe even a little musical saw! Stellar musicians will include Aloysia Friedmann, Jon Kimura Parker, Iwo Jedynecki, Karolina Mikołajczyk, Nikki Chooi, Sandy Hughes, Yura Lee, Mary Lynch VanderKolk, Chad Wesselkamper, and many more!
