Tuesdays, until April 24 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Senior Center
Granny’s Attic is Orcas Island’s Spring Senior Center fundraiser. On Saturday, April 28, islanders will be able to browse through the rooms and halls of the Senior Center, the ultimate treasure hunter’s delight.
Until Tuesday, April 24, volunteers will be at the centers on Tuesdays, between 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. to receive items that have been relegated to Granny’s Attic and Granpa’s Workshop.
The Senior Center Advisory Committee notes that it will take “most all donations except clothing and computers and appliances and small pieces of furniture that are in good condition.”
So start looking at your piles of collected valuables and considering passing them on to other islanders. For questions, give Jane Heisinger a call at 376-2677.

Sounds like they WILL take small pieces of furniture; where does the “except” stop? After computers? I.e., will they take small appliances (I think so, I bought one there last year) and furniture? Thanks.
For questions about furniture, call Jane Heisinger at 376-2677.
