Long-time Orcas resident Indira Monk recently suffered a stroke, and faces an uphill battle during her recuperation. Café Olga has orchestrated a benefit dinner, where the proceeds will go to assist Indira. The menu will feature the outstanding fare you have come to expect from one of Orcas Island’s top restaurants. Please call the restaurant at 376-5098 to reserve your spot.
You can also help by making donations to the ‘Indira Monk donation fund’ at Key Bank, or purchasing ‘Healing Heart’ lip balm ($5) at Wood’s Cove, the Olga Store, and from Carol Anderson at the Saturday Farmer’s Market. All proceeds from the sales are being donated.
