The Orcas Island Artworks reopens for the 2013 season on February 16 featuring photographs by David Grdina. The show runs through March 27.
The subject of David’s show is a feral peacock that made regular appearances at his home for a period of time.
Grdina captured and cropped the graphic forms of the peacock’s plumage without digital enhancement to create these remarkable pieces. David studied commercial art at Virginia Marti College in Cleveland, Ohio, where he began his interest in photography. He moved to Orcas in 2011.
The Artworks will be open daily from 10 to 5.
