On Saturday, February 5, artists of all disciplines and supporters of the arts are invited to two meetings — on Orcas and on Lopez Islands — held by the newly formed county-wide Arts Council.
The purpose of the meetings is to gather ideas on the vision of an arts council and how it might benefit artists and their communities. Teddy Deane will give an update you on what has been done so far. Both meetings are on February 5th.
The Orcas meeting will be at the Orcas Center in the Black Box from 12:30 to 2 p.m. and the Lopez meeting will be at the Lopez Library from 4:45 – 5:30 p.m.
