The regular meeting of San Juan County Fire Protection District #2 Board of Commissioners has set their next meeting at 5:30 p.m., on Monday, August 21, at Eastsound Fire Station.
The IRS Social Security past due amount will be discussed under Old Business by Chief Williams and Commissioner Helminski

- Attendance at WFCA Conference October 26-28, 2017 – Chief Williams
- Resolution 2017-09 – CORRECTED – Adoption of 2017 Budget, Amended – Chief Williams & Micki Nichols
- Additional disclosure added to the financial spreadsheet. Budget categories to be broken down and itemized year-to-date for better accounting of spending. – Commissioner Helminski
- Financials provided to Commissioners several days before monthly meeting for review – Commissioner Helminski
- Establish more than one public comment period – Commissioner Helminski
- Public comment limited to two minutes – Commissioner Helminski
- Approved minutes from prior month’s meeting provided to the Commission to be provided to public for review during meeting. – Commissioner Helminski
