The first Saturday in December is a big day for us on Orcas Island. One of the events on December 5th provides food, coffee and tea, a visit from Mr. and Mrs. Claus, a holiday book sale, an opportunity for children to create a craft and enjoy food made for their tastes, AND a gracious table anchored by two special people pouring coffee and tea from silver tea sets.

Around, through and over all there will be music from a number of Orcas groups for your enjoyment.

The event, a Thank You to the Orcas Community from the Friends of the Library, is free, is for Islanders and will be held from noon until 3 p.m. at the Library.

Hope to see you there!
