||| FROM ANITA ORNE for ORCAS CHAMBER MUSIC FESTIVAL |||
The Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival is thrilled to kick off its 25th Season with a very special concert dedicated to a very special group of people.
On Friday, August 5 at 5:30 p.m., Time for Three, with guests Sempre Sisters, will be playing their usual fun and exciting genre-crossing music on the Village Green in Eastsound. This free concert is dedicated to all who work so hard and contribute so much to life on Orcas Island – the servers, cooks, cleaners, bartenders, clerks, guides, gardeners, caregivers, teachers and so many more.
The concert is scheduled for late in the day in hopes that at least some of these hard working folks can come, sit back, put their feet up, and enjoy!
We thank David Dotlich, Douglas Elwood, and all our sponsors who are making this much-deserved gift of music possible. For more information, please visit www.oicmf.org.

This is a terrific group–Highly recommended!….and Thanks Orcas Chamber Music Festival.
Next time there is a free concert advertised as a treat to the service workers, maybe don’t have that concert scheduled for a FRIDAY. I suggest a TUESDAY next time, as most of us hard working folks are very, very busy on Fridays (and our jobs aren’t 9-5…..).
