Jacqueline Tabor and her band were just wonderful! Fantastic rhythm section, repertoire, and soloists. Thanks, everyone, for coming out! Btw, Dylan Hayes will be back with his quartet August 24-26!
This week, we are excited to have Camilo Estrada’s “The New Triumph!” back, presenting Afro-Latin-Funk. He is at the heart beat of Seattle’s Latin -funk music scene. Led by Camilo’s relentless grooves on bass guitar, The New Triumph skillfully blends Latin and African rhythms in an energetic, dance-inducing mix of Funk, Afro-Latin, and Jazz music. They have a growing reputation for original, sophisticated arrangements and intriguing, razor sharp arrangements.
TNT is fronted by Sidney Hauser, one of the few outstanding female saxophone players in the Seattle area, being a part of the Seattle Repertoire Jazz Orchestra for many years.
Their songs will have you dancing!
The concerts are sponsored by Wild Island restaurant and Free to all, contributions to the tip jar are highly appreciated. You’re welcome to bring your blanket or lawn chair too. Enjoy! Click HERE to view the full season calendar.
