Forestry Walk led by Carson on Turtleback Mountain Preserve

Forester and restoration ecologist Carson Sprenger will lead an exploration into a wooded wetland area of the Stonebridge-Terrill Preserve and illuminate the dynamics of the forest community .  By helping us learn where and how to look, Carson will expand our awareness and appreciation for the functions of trees and forest communities, and what that means to our lives.

  • Time:  10:00am – 11:30 am
  • Trail:  ½ mile round trip
  • Parking:  Preserve trailhead Terrill Beach & Buckhorn Rd.  Meet at orange cone
  • Bring:  Trail-appropriate footwear and clothing, binoculars
