Textile Arts display at the Orcas Center through the month of February begins with a reception Friday, Feb. 6 a 5:30 p.m.

Among the textile arts displayed are knitting, felting, weaving, basketry, spinning, beading, dyeing, rug hooking, quilting and needlepoint.

Some of the artists are Andrea Hendrick, BJ Arnold, Merry Bush, Irene Anda, Ann Jones, Pat Diviney, Carol Marcin, Maureen Hannan, Geoff Shilling and Barbara Bedell.

Parents of Orcas Island’s Public School Montessori Program will serve up their annual Lasagna Dinner and Silent Auction at Odd Fellow’s Hall from 5 to 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 for adults, $12 for seniors and $8 for kids, available at the door and from Montessori classroom parents. On-site child care will be available too. Also lasagna dinners to go.
