The acclaimed production of Vanya from National Theatre Live featuring Andrew Scott (Fleabag, Sherlock), is coming to the Orcas Center Screen on Friday, March 28 at 7pm.

Directed by Sam Yates, this version of Vanya offers a fresh, intimate take on the classic Chekhov play, “Uncle Vanya”. Scott portrays the lead character Vanya and other key roles, bringing a dynamic and emotionally charged performance that captivated audiences as he delves into the complexities of human emotions.

The play explores themes of unrequited love, disillusionment, and the passage of time, with Scott’s portrayal of Vanya earning widespread praise for its depth and vulnerability. Vanya received the Olivier Award for Best Revival and earned Scott the Critics’ Circle Award for his performance in this one-man show.

Ticket prices range from $10-$63 with an additional $2 ticketing fee. Tickets are available online at www.OrcasCenter.org by phone at 360-376-2281 ext 100, or in-person at the Box Office an hour prior to the performance.
