The Orcas Island School District has three school options for all 1st grade children.  Please join us as we share these options with you at our 1st Grade Parent Orientations.

  •  VIRTUALLY, Tuesday, February 6, from 5:30-6:30 – Link

  • In Person, Wednesday, March 6, from 5:30-6:30  in the district library

Join Elemententary Principal Lorena Stankevich and current kindergarten teachers as they share options for families with students entering 1st grade for the 2024-25 school year.  

This 45 minute presentation will give you an opportunity to learn a little bit about Orcas Island Montessori Public, Orcas Island Elementary School and the OASIS Parent Partnership Alternative Learning Program, and will be followed with a time for questions!  

If you are interested in participating in the lottery for OIMP, attendance at a presentation is no longer required, but is recommended.
