Look for Painted Pet sculptures around Eastsound from August 29 through September 15. An amazing group of local artists have poured their hearts and talents into creating stunning renditions of cats and dogs, all to benefit the Orcas Animal Shelter. Drop in to any of the businesses displaying a Painted Pet to pick up your map to find all the pets around Eastsound.
Don’t miss the opportunity to take one of these wonderful works of art home! A silent auction bid sheet will be available at each business displaying a Painted Pet sculpture. Fill in your bid and have a chance to own your favorite pet. Bidding goes through September 15.
A One-Day Treasure Map Event: Pick up your Treasure Map (for a $10 donation) at the Shelter’s tent at the Farmers’ Market on Saturday, September 3. If you find all the answers to the clues and return the clue sheet, you have a chance to be the lucky winner of $100.
