All Orcas Islanders are invited to a Town Hall meeting at Eastsound Fire Hall 4-6 p.m. today, Wednesday, May 20.
County Council members Gene Knapp and Richard Fralick and County Administrator Peter Rose will be in attendance.
The current county budget crisis, siting of the San Juan Island solid waste transfer station, Eastsound peddling and sign ordinances, current status of GMA compliance and other important issues facing the County will be discussed in some detail.
An open questions and answers forum will follow this presentation.
