The parade (at noon) will feature bagpipes and a drum major, accompanied by marchers wearing kilts. Also rumored to be participating are members of the Orcas Ukulele Club, along with antique cars and trucks, and lots of enthusiastic Olga folks in crazy hats and costumes. Don’t miss the fun – please come and join us!

After the parade join us for lunch with Harold and friends featuring the award winning chile master, Mark Mayer. Chile dogs and veggie dogs, along with side salads and drinks will be available for purchase. There will be four musical bands playing for us throughout the day and I’ve heard that the lovely soprano, Sharon Abreu, will sing for us after the parade. Not to be missed!

New games for both big and little kids will be happening throughout the day along with face painting and an antique printing press for kids of all ages to produce a stunning document. We’ll wrap up the event with a lawn mower race up and down 3rd Street (Heaven help us!). If you’d like to enter your lawn mower please contact Steve Emmes: 360-376-1461.

All of this along with our world famous bake sale, yard sale, quilt raffle, history booth, Olga Grown sale and more. It’s going to be a busy, fun filled day.

See you there! Saturday, July 20, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
