This Sunday, August 14, at 3 p.m., Orcas Island Chamber Music Festival hosts a FREE “Big Band Extravaganza” Concert on the Village Green.
World-renowned pianist Jon Kimura “Jackie” Parker joins trumpeter Jens Lindemann as he leads a full brass orchestra in a new big-band arrangement of George Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue and a host of other classic jazz standards.
Bring your dancing shoes to the Village Green and prepare to enjoy extraordinary music, generously sponsored by the OICMF Robert Henigson Board Designated Fund.
