Due to unexpected circumstances, we have had to find a substitute garden for GARDEN C. Sara’s Garden at Outlook Inn (171 Main Street, Eastsound, WA) is the new GARDEN C, substituting for Catiya Gainor’s Garden in Olga/Doe Bay. Sara’s Garden (Garden C) will be open both days, Saturday and Sunday, June 26 and 27, from 11  a.m. to 5 p.m.

Tucked behind the Outlook Inn lies a magical garden that has starred in many wedding celebrations. As you step into Sara Farish’s enchanting garden, you’ll cross a charming bridge whose arch twinkles with fairy lights. After you enjoy the colorful rose garden that edges the pond, wander through the gazebo and explore the beautiful chapel that has hosted many marriage ceremonies.

DIRECTIONS: Located right in the heart of Eastsound, the Outlook Inn is at the west end of Main Street. Turn into the Outlook Inn driveway and continue to the back of the parking lot where you will find Sara’s Garden located on your right.

Two of the gardens are open on Saturday, one is open both days and two different gardens are open on Sunday.

  • Garden A & B (Margaret Payne and Martha Kramer) are open only on Saturday
  • Garden C (Sara Farish/Outlook Inn) is open both Saturday & Sunday
  • Garden D & E (Kaj Dawg Farm & Doe Bay) are only open on Sunday

We’ll also be offering different fun activities for guests at each garden throughout the tour, such as: Master Gardeners there to answer your questions, free plant handouts, live music, raffles, garden art exhibit, floral displays as well as some for sale, a scavenger hunt and gardening demonstrations.

Tour tickets are $20 and can be purchased at Darvill’s Bookstore and Driftwood Nursery, online at OrcasIslandGardenClub.org, or at each of the tour gardens.

Hope you can join us at the garden tour as we welcome summer and celebrate our love for plants. Visit our OIGC Webpage at www.orcasislandgardenclub.org.
